Success Story for the Low Voltage Department
The world leader in cognac production wanted to increase its production by extending its new winery.
Customer Challenge
The challenge of the extension of the installations was to ensure a perfect realization without disturbing the functioning of the production of the existing winery.
Solution proposed by Technord
Technord therefore proposed a solution that was perfectly suited to this objective.
It consisted of :
- Integration of new electrical cabinets to minimize modifications to existing cabinets,
- Integration of new equipment on new networks (AS-i and Profibus PA) to avoid disruption of existing networks,
- I/O testing with a test PLC independent of the production PLC,
When the above three possibilities were not applicable, the flexibility of our teams allowed the work to be carried out during production stoppages and weekends.
Benefit to the customer
The finalization of the installations is in progress and we already note the great satisfaction of the customer as for the quality of the realized works, the respect of the planning and the minimization of the disturbance of the production.
