20,000 bees at Technord, Tournai

Through the initiative of our internal TECH-GREEN committee, which ensures the best possible cohabitation between the company and its environment, two beehives have been installed on the roof of Technord in Tournai.

The existence of bees is threatened, largely due to pesticides. Today, they find refuge in the city. Installing beehives on the company’s roof is a way of participating in biodiversity and helping bees towards this “migration”.

This provides them with a quiet place where no one can disturb them and close to places where they can gather pollen. More than 20,000 bees occupy the hives.
