Intermarché Wanty Circus: a Walloon cycling team in existence for over 45 years
The historic Intermarché Wanty Circus team is made up of some thirty riders who, over 240 days of racing, compete against other teams to reach the top of the podium.
60 days of racing take place in Belgium, including iconic race circuits such as: Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Flèche Wallonne, Binche-Chimay-Binche, Tour de Wallonie and many more!
Development team Circus – Re-UZ – Technord, tomorrow’s new hopefuls
We have chosen to sponsor the new Intermarché-Circus Wanty continental development team.
” Circus, Re-Uz and Technord, three internationally renowned Walloon companies featured on the World Team 2023 jersey, are the title partners of this team made up of young Walloon, Belgian and international talent. ” – Intermarché Wanty
This new cycling team of 28 riders and 12 different nationalities is led by young retired rider and new sports director Kévin Van Melsen from Liège.
The Developement team Circus – Re-UZ – Technord aims to develop and professionalize some fifteen riders.
This will enable young hopefuls to showcase their skills in a program of national and international races. These cyclists will also have the opportunity to join some of the Wanty Circus team’s races.
