The resulting <strong>energy consumption<\/strong> is <strong>colossal<\/strong>, and therefore contributes to the process&#8217;<strong>CO2 footprint<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Raw material<\/strong> <strong>variability<\/strong> and successive<strong> chemical reactions<\/strong> (endothermic and exothermic) can <strong>disrupt the process <\/strong>, <strong>leading <\/strong>to <strong>oscillations <\/strong>that result in unwelcome <strong>consumption peaks <\/strong>that are difficult to control.<\/p>\n\n<p>What&#8217;s more, these oscillations can cause <strong>technical problems<\/strong>, leading to <strong>impromptu furnace shutdowns<\/strong> and equally high <strong>restart consumption<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"solution-proposee-par-nos-equipes\"><strong>Solution proposed by our teams<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Technord combines <strong>two approaches<\/strong> <strong>to <\/strong>process <strong>modeling <\/strong>, implementing <strong>mass<\/strong> and <strong>energy<\/strong> <strong>balances<\/strong>, backed up by data-driven Machine Learning algorithms.<\/p>\n\n<p>Hybrid modeling and the use of historical data enable us to <strong>develop a decision-support tool<\/strong> for the operator.<\/p>\n\n<p>This tool suggests <strong>energy settings<\/strong> to the operator, so as to stay in the <strong>ideal operating mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"gain-pour-le-client\"><strong>Gain for the customer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>After a period of validation of the tool by process experts, the customer will obtain a <strong>&#8220;real-time&#8221; tool<\/strong> that instantly <strong>exploits <\/strong>the <strong>available measurements<\/strong>, <strong>corrects <\/strong>them if necessary, and<strong>helps<\/strong> him<strong>to respect<\/strong> <strong>ideal production conditions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Find out how our Process Improvement team models the process to rationalize the amount of energy required and stabilize production.
