{"id":25960259,"date":"2024-10-03T10:58:19","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T08:58:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technord.com\/renovation-and-relocation-of-a-machine-park\/"},"modified":"2024-10-07T14:38:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-07T12:38:56","slug":"renovation-and-relocation-of-a-machine-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.technord.com\/en\/renovation-and-relocation-of-a-machine-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Renovation and relocation of a machine park"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Find out how our Process Control teams worked on the machinery of a global tire manufacturer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Customer challenge<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>During the renovation and relocation of a machine park, a large number of operator<strong>interventions<\/strong> had to be<strong> maintained<\/strong>.\nFor our customer, it was necessary to<strong>improve safety levels<\/strong> and <strong>comply with the latest guidelines<\/strong> for the design and evaluation of safety-related control systems. <\/p>\n\n<p>It was also necessary to <strong>replace the control and command elements of<\/strong> the machines with the latest generation equipment, while <strong>complying with the <\/strong>customer&#8217;s electrical and programming <strong>standards <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Technord&#8217;s solution<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>To upgrade machine safety to the latest standards, we worked in <strong>partnership with Pilz<\/strong> to draw up a <strong>risk analysis<\/strong> and a <strong>safety design.<\/strong><br\/><br\/>We then carried out a<strong>detailed functional analysis<\/strong>, integrating the safety design and the new programming standards.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Our teams have implemented :<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>replacement of machine control elements with the latest generation of equipment (electrical, pneumatic and automation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>adaptation of PLC and HMI programs (operator panels)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>adaptation of new safety equipment in line with the new detailed functional analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>plant commissioning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>operator and maintenance training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>The standards used :<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safety standards Functional EN ISO 13849-1 and -2 and EN\/IEC 62061<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standards Electrical safety to EN IEC 60204-1  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><u>Customer gain<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Following our interventions, the customer noted <\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>increased safety<\/strong> for operators (without additional constraints)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>increased<\/strong> machine<strong>reliability<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>easier in-house maintenance<\/strong> thanks to electrical and programming standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>obtaining<\/strong> electrical<strong>safety<\/strong>, machine safety and CE conformity<strong>certificates<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Find out how our Process Control teams worked on the machinery of a global tire manufacturer.
